Maggie is Clara and Jeffrey's mother. She's very protective and doesn't like to reveal very much about angels to her children. This is due to the fact that the more you know the more danger one can potentially receive.
Her purpose has lasted 100 years and was to have Jeffrey and Clara.
She has been to college 4 times and she has studied, nursing, history, international relations, and computer programming.

Unearthly[]
After Clara gets visions for her purpose, she moves their entire family to Wyoming. She encourages Clara to seek whatever she can about it. She believes Tucker is a distraction from Clara's purpose.
Hallowed[]
It's revealed that when angels reach the age of 102 that their time on Earth has to come to an end. Slowly she grows weeker until her eventual passing. She entrusts her children to be in Billys care. In the end, she is seen running towards the mountain in heaven.
Boundless[]
Clara terribly misses her mother after her death but does her best to adjust. After Maggie passes Clara accidentally sends herself back in time. She meets a younger version of Maggie who is considering accepting a marriage proposal from Michael. They each discuss their problems and Clara convinces Maggie to marry Michael.
It is revealed that before Maggie met Michael she once loved Samjeeza. Earlier in the book Samjeeza tells Clara stories about Maggie and wants Clara to tell him one about her in return. Clara agrees to tell him one in exchange for taking her to hell.
