Maggie introduces Clara to Billy at the angel council, Congregarium celestial, in the mountains. Billy arrives their early to make the place liveable. Later Billy becomes the fulltime caregiver for Maggie as she weakens as her death approaches. It's implied that Billy has 7 years left to live.
Boundless[]
Billy steps in as the fulltime legal guardian for Clara and Jeffrey when their Maggie passes away in Hallowed. She marries Christian's uncle, Walter. (Walter later passes away)
She steps in to take care of Angela's child. It's revealed she would love to have a child of her own, but with her husband's death and her own approaching, it is not possible.

Once in the thirties when she and Maggie bumped into a Black Wing, Asael at the Santa Anita racetrack. They couldn't fly away and since there were so many people he couldn't confront them. They went back to their seats and after the race he was gone.
